Woods of the West

This is an example of a Jarrah box we custom made to hold a maritime compass.   The box was hand crafted from beautiful Western Australian Jarrah was left unlined with a glass lid and fitted with a brass catch and a mechanism provided by the client to suspend the compass.

Timber Type - Jarrah, Sheoak, Silky Oak, Woody Pear etc,
Dimensions (External and/or Internal) - Sketch or picture if possible
Lining colour - black, blue or burgundy felt,
Hardware - hinges/catches brass or nickel
